Richard has practiced meditation since 1974. It is his experience that this simple exercise of paying attention, of “being here, now,” can result in a happier life and increased access to love, compassion, joy, and equanimity. Meditation, mindfulness, is accessible in the midst of whatever life throws at us. Richard is a retired hospice nurse and is spending his retirement as a practice leader for his meditation community.

Coretta graduated from New York Iyengar Institute’s Teacher Training. She is a devoted believer in “Long, uninterrupted, alert practice” in order to build the foundation of a happy and healthy life. 
Coretta taught at Greenhouse Holistic, billed best yoga studio of New York City, as well as Shambhala Yoga and Dance Center, Sangha Yoga Shala and Move with Grace. She currently teaches at 92nd Street Y and is the onsite Yoga Teacher at New York Blood Center in both Long Island City and Manhattan. Her rope class has been featured in TimeOut’s Crazy Classes.
Her online classes incorporate every-day objects and spaces so that everyone can practice from wherever they are.
